Though I was good at it, I hated math till I took a college stage course in educating math to younger kids. No one took a time to comment on the construction and content of each the standard and K-12 programs of education. No one stated something on whether the old and the current elementary, high school and even faculty curriculum have got added values on what an induvidual needs to be truly successful… or what are the pre-requisites for a nation to be properly-off!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I was homeschooled K-12 and am now a school professor. My parents worked with us to offer many opportunities to be concerned with competitions, further-curricular activities, and educational ‘stretching’. I went on the graduate suma-cum-laude from a college that gave me a full tuition and room-and-board scholarship. I am married, have four youngsters, and they are at present being homeschooled. On the whole homeschooling prepared me well for all times, and I am glad that I was homeschooled. But you do raise some important points.
